Limitations
Screen Door Effect
This limitation does not occur with the iPhone 4 or the iPad.
The viewer is constructed mainly to view pictures and video on an iPod. The iPod has good resolution on a small screen. The individual pixels on the screen are not visible when viewed normally. However when viewed through the lens, the pixels become visible.
The dark gaps between the pixels will be visible. This causes a "screen door" effect. For some users this may be distracting. However when you look at the scene long enough the effect is minimized. Try not to foucs on this effect but rather the overall 3D image. This effect is also minimized while viewing video.
